Joshua Foss • Panel Moderator

You may recognize Joshua Foss if you’re a fan of HGTV: he appeared as Organic Josh on the second season of the hit show “Design Star!” and will be hosting a series on HGTV.com called “Get Green.” Foss, a LEED Accredited Professional and nationally renowned living-green leader, designer, and artist, is the head of Minneapolis-based Thrive Design Studio. Through Thrive, he promotes green design as attractive and affordable. He is active in both the Twin Cities and national “green scene,” is a contract graphic designer for the U.S. Green Building Council, and sits on several sustainable building committees in Minnesota. In addition to his design work, Foss authors the Metro Hippie blog and hosts the Greenprints segment on the Minneapolis show “Blueprint for Green.” He has made numerous television and home show appearances around the country.

Tricia Bayer was educated in architecture at the University of Minnesota and began Belle Kitchen five years ago. She is a 2008 winner of the National Kitchen and Bath design contest and travels to Europe annually to uncover the hottest trends in kitchen and bath design.
 

Lisa Weck, Cambria
The Beauty of Cambria for a Healthy Home
Lisa Weck assists homeowners and trade professionals with surface selections at the Cambria Natural Quartz Surfaces showroom at IMS. In addition, she has been showroom manager for more than three years and has also worked in Cambria’s Customer Care division. She also has served as the treasurer for the Minnesota state chapter of NKBA.
 

Katie Speckmann, Valcucine

Katie Speckmann, Assoc. AIA, LEED AP, focuses on business development and design for Valcucine, an eco-compatible Italian kitchen company. Speckmann holds a degree in architecture from the University of Minnesota and works to educate designers and the public about creating delightful, healthy spaces using European philosophies.
