The HomeBook is a compendium of home resources—from the first spark of architectural inspiration, through the bricks-and-sticks of building, to the finishing touches of furnishings and landscaping—and each distinctive detail between. This is your guide to everything home, everything local.
Part of the joy that comes from owning a home is the way it evolves with lifestyle. As our tastes in color, texture, and fashion change, we update our homes to reflect that personal chic. When the walls themselves need adjusting, we remodel or build new to suit our needs.
In that spirit, our HomeBook, too, is evolving. To start the New Year with a wealth of resources at your fingertips, we have expanded this section into this inaugural January issue.
Design, goods, and services available to today’s home-minded consumer are as marvelous as they are immensely varied. This is decidedly beneficial for homeowners, but can translate to a dizzying number of options—almost to the point that you might put off that lingering New Year’s resolution: “This year, we will get a new kitchen.”
We hope you will find the new HomeBook a helpful starting point—a publication packed with useful information that is quick to browse and easy to file for future reference. Among stunning photography and tips on home décor trends, you will become acquainted with the most respected companies in Minnesota’s shelter industry. Keep the HomeBook in mind the next time you’re pondering painting, building or remodeling, feathering the nest, or giving yourself a luxurious spa bath customized to the nines.
We wish you success in meeting those home resolutions, and, to your home, an enjoyable evolution in the year ahead.
