Pillar Homes’ K.C. Chermak named BATC president

K.C. Chermak, president of Plymouth-based Pillar Homes and Imagination Renovation, recently was named president of the Builders Association of the Twin Cities (BATC) for 2008. Chermak will oversee the activities of BATC, which was formed 60 years ago to increase the professionalism and quality of the homebuilding industry. Today, BATC presents the Parade of Homes Spring PreviewSM´, Fall ShowcaseSM, Easy StreetSM, and the Remodelers ShowcaseSM. The association also offers educational opportunities and public policy initiatives. Vision Remodeling’s Todd Polifka named NARI MN president

Todd Polifka, CEO of Little Canada-based Vision Remodeling, Inc., recently was named president of the Minnesota chapter of the National Association of the Remodeling Industry (NARI) for 2008. NARI is the only professional trade organization dedicated to the remodeling industry. The next two seminars are Saturdays, February 2 and March 8, both 10:30 a.m.-11:30 a.m. Hosted at the M|A|Peterson Design Center in Edina, the free seminars offer homeowners the opportunity to gather valuable insight and information about all phases of the remodeling process.
