Justine Hornick

The word “obsession” is often found in Justine Hornick’s vocabulary, because her energy is fueled by all things new and now. Just hang around her chair at Root Salon, and she will happily fill you in on the latest hair hues, the greatest brow shapes, sweatiest workouts, or most entertaining dog toys. Minnesota Monthly’s “Best Colorist in 2011,” Justine creates stunning makeovers for Twin Cities femmes fatales. She also works on the Wella Professionals Design Team, traveling the world teaching other hairdressers. She lives in Nordeast with her spouse, their three dogs, and a revolving door of foster pups.

Fatima Olive

Fatima Olive is a freelance makeup and hair artist for commercial and editorial fashion photo and video shoots. She held posts as global makeup artist at Aveda, and Beauty Expert for Marshall Field’s and Macy’s. She’s worked on Christy Turlington and her work has appeared in Glamour, Marie Claire, and More. But at the heart of it, she’s a beauty pragmatic–a woman who loves showing other women how to look their best with great products and simple techniques. She lives in Minneapolis with her husband and her seven-year-old makeup artist in training.
