Look, the ladies (and gents) behind WAMSO, the Minnesota Orchestra’s volunteer arm, know how to throw a luncheon. Today’s Settings of Note was no exception. Everyone comes in their smart skirts and suits and pores over the interior designer-decorated place settings (and they place bids—winner takes home the tabletop, and the Minnesota Orchestra benefits). D’Amico served a lovely hot-and-sour fish lunch, models showed the latest from Galleria fixture dugo, and Wixon Jewelers raffled off a gorgeous diamond pendant, to boot. Attendees were treated to darling place settings that ranged in theme from French Country, complete with hens, to British Invasion (thanks to Lori at Euronest, complete with the Queen Mum), Breakfast at Tiffany’s, and a kids’ circus/zoo theme that I found completely and totally charming.
