Shipshape Style

When you’ve got a lineup of designers and makers such as the ones at Ship & Shape, incredible things can happen. Each season Erin Smith, Maddy Nye, and Annika Kaplan curate a mix of their own work along with their favorite artists to showcase quality handmade goods. Their eye for selecting unique and expressive pieces is impeccable and the eclectic product offering makes for a rich online shopping experience.

So when I caught wind there was a new line of handmade goods coming to the Ship & Shape online shop, I knew it was going to impress. After all, the Spring line made quite the splash around the blogosphere. Let me tell you, this season’s products take it to a whole new level with playful hair accessories, statement baubles, and beautifully dyed scarves. Check out the Summer Lookbook and all the handmade goodness from Ship & Shape before it sells out.

My picks:

Beaded earrings by Molly Erickson (at upper right)
These earrings are simple, but totally bring the drama with their length and color.

Pompom Hairband by Anna Weber

I’m loving Anna’s quirky twist on hair accessories. Who else LOVED pompoms on their socks as a kid? This girl. There’s something I just love about a good pompom.

Scarf by Scarf Shop

Beautifully dyed scarves are light and airy, perfect for cooler summer nights. I’d love to pair this one with a flowing linen dress and messy top knot.
