12 Days of Christmas Lips, Part I

12 Days of Christmas Lips, Part I

I decided to get a head start on my New Year's Resolution for 2013. Last year I vowed to maintain a twice-monthly manicure in hopes of having religiously polished digits. Next year? Lipstick. I have been inspired by how a woman's image transforms with just a little lip color! I convinced my prettiest gal pals to divulge their favorite kisser-sticks for the holidays. Here's what we're wearing for this season's festivities!

Here I am, at upper right. This is my perfect day-to-night look. This combo from MAC works on both cool and warm skin tones. Ruby Woo lipstick and Kiss Me Quick lip pencil

Strong eyes demand a more muted nude lip. And this combo won't make lips disappear! NARS Velvet Matte Lip Pencil in Bahamas, topped off with MAC Myth Lipstick

For the girl who loves the classic black outfit, this dusty pink duo is the perfect accessory. MAC lipsticks in Girl and Japanese Maple

Arrive at that cocktail party in something that shimmers gold. Glo Minerals Liquid Lips in Sultry topped off with a dusting of Glo Minerals Shadow in Twinkle

Party lips perfect for a fun holiday happy hour with the gal pals! Stila lip pencil in Obsessed with MAC lipstick in Amplified

Can't decide on just one shade? Double dip with two shades that are the same depth but slightly different tones. Try the more saturated color on top and the softer color on the bottom for an ultra-pouty look.
Glo Minerals Royal Lip Crayons in Empress Rose and Imperial Pink. Top it off with Glo Liquid Lips in Beloved

This is the lip with it all. Yves Saint Laurent's Glossy Stain is a cinch to apply and will withstand countless glasses of wine and mistletoe kisses. YSL Rouge Pur Couture in 20

Stay tuned! Next week I'll reveal the last 6 days of Christmas lips!
