Two of my favorite local things happening are happening together this Thursday: Pierrepont Hicks is throwing a happy hour with (and at) Forage Modern Workshop. I know, right? And here’s the thing: It’s THEMED. I love themes, you guys. This one happens to be one of my favorite movies: The Royal Tenenbaums. And yes, costumes are welcome. I hear there will be staging, so our life will be like a movie (as if the store’s merchandising wasn’t already enchanting enough). Who hasn’t wanted that? Margot would, of course, be my costume of choice, and given the pessimistic weather forecast, my fur stole wouldn’t be too terribly out of season yet. (I have very mixed feelings about that part, though.)
So, pencil on some kohl—or a sweatband—and head to Forage for a very stylish martini hour and some impeccable shopping.
