Our 2013 New Vintage wine tasting series kicks off tomorrow, March 19, at the Ordway, offering the chance to learn about—and taste, of course!—wines from Rioja.
I’ll be hosting the event with Chuck Kanski, owner of Solo Vino in St. Paul, who has selected four wines from the fifth-generation C.V.N.E. winery (Cune) to sample: a Rosado, Monopole Viura, Crianza, and Reserva. Kanski also promises to have us drinking like Spanish kings—literally, he’ll also be pouring the same Cava, Juve y Camps Reserva de la Familia, that the King of Spain serves at official receptions. Cool, huh?
