dpHUE Launching at ULTA Beauty

One month after launching at Sephora, dpHUE has announced it’s coming to the country’s other leading beauty retailer, ULTA Beauty. The Minnesota-based, at-home hair color and care line is launching at more than 850 ULTA brick-and-mortars and on ulta.com beginning May 8. The launch includes dpHUE’s newest product, its Apple Cider Vinegar Leave-in Therapy, a extension of its popular Apple Cider Vinegar Hair Rinse. Its core collection of products, including its 2 Application Root Touch-up Kit, GLOSS+, Argan Oil Therapy, Color Care Shampoo and Conditioner, Cool Blonde Shampoo and Conditioner, are also included in the launch.

dpHUE was founded in 2011 by Minnesota entrepreneur Donna Pohlad (the wife of Twins CEO Jim Pohlad), who saw a hole in the marketplace for hair color and care products that offer the convenience of at-home hair coloring without compromising on salon quality. She developed the outside-the-box concept with a team industry experts, and later joined forces with celebrity hair colorist Justin Anderson to further develop the product line and training program.

If you’re not quite comfortable with the idea of applying your own hair color or just need a guiding hand the first time out, be sure to check out dpHUE’s colorBAR located at Edina’s 50th and France neighborhood. (There’s also a second location in Los Angeles.) The colorBAR offers complimentary consultations as well as the option of having hair color applied or guided by a professional stylist.
