Northern Clay Center's July Featured Artists

Minneapolis gallery The Northern Clay Center's July exhibit opens Tuesday and will focus on the maker-to-table movement by featuring artists Kevin Caufield, Johanna Severson, and Andy Shaw. Caulfield is a ceramicist who has worked alongside local chefs and on James Beard projects, Severson creates kitchenware specialized for home cooks, and Shaw makes vibrant serving platters and beautifully designed plates. Stop by to learn more about the fascinating collaboration of art and cooking. Tuesday 10 a.m. through August 5 @ The Northern Clay Center, 2424 E Franklin Ave., Minneapolis.

Little Mekong Night Market

Saint Paul's Little Mekong District will host a unique street market this weekend celebrating arts and culture, inspired by the night markets of Southeast Asia. There will be a wide variety of food vendors, including Thai Thai Street Food, Ninja Sushi, and The Green Leaf. Art and more will be offered from vendors including Larissa LodenBao's Henna Art, and So Pla Pla LLC. The family-friendly market will also include exciting performances from musician Amanda Yang and dance group CSE Dance, along with many more. Saturday from 5 p.m. to midnight and Sunday from 2 to 10 p.m. @ Little Mekong, 422 University Ave., Suite 14, St. Paul.

Parallel Maker Market

Hennepin Made and Parallel Cafe are hosting the trendiest yard sale of the year. Grab a drink from the cafe and peruse the many pop-ups shops featuring handmade crafts from local makers like jewelry designer Mandalabombs, hats and fascinators by Karen Morris Millnery, and more. Afterwards, head to the Lyndale Farmers Market farmers market for your week’s fresh produce. Saturday from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m @ Parallel MN Cafe 145 Holden St. N, Minneapolis.

Italian Eatery's Fourth of July "Piazza"

Based on the Italian word "Piazza" meaning a community square where neighbors, friends, and family gather, Minneapolis' Italian Eatery will be hosting a Fourth of July get-together celebrating food, shopping, and fun. The event will have pop-up shops from vendors including jewelry brand Flaunt Accessories, organic skincare company Santosha.Co, and handwoven goods company Less Traveled Co. For food and drinks, there will be a barbecue, craft summer cocktails, and a gelato tent as well as games and a team bags tournament with a grand prize of $200.
