Launching Oct. 28: Makers Alongside Hackwith: Series Candle by Na Nin: Hackwith Design House’s series serves as a collaboration between the online shop and various artists and makers to present one-of-a-kind goods. This month’s collaboration with Na Nin has resulted in a candle with an exclusive new Prairie Fire scent, which will be sold only on HDH’s online shop. Launching Oct. 28: StormSister Launches New Lipstick Collection: Becky Sturm’s Stormsisters lipstick line is at it again—a year after launching, the brand has expanded to include five new lipstick shades. The vegan, gluten-free, and sustainable line caters to a variety of women and their shade of choice—from nude and crème to violet plum and browny bronze. Stormsisters lipsticks are manufactured in Minnesota and currently available at local boutique Uptown MN, as well as online at stormsisterspatique.com. Oct. 29: Fischer Clothing Denim Repair Shop and Concert at Wilson & Willy’s: Modern general store and supplier of “neighbor goods” Wilson & Willy’s invites you into the shop for two different events that capture their mission to produce and support the making of quality local goods. First, make your favorite jeans good as new at their Denim Repair shop, which takes over the store at 4 p.m. Then, come back for a free show by local R&B favorites Sonny Light & The Lakers and Secret Stash Records. Opening Oct. 29: Ciel Loft & Home Warehouse Boutique: With two successful locations up and running, Ciel Loft and Home will expand into a third location near their St. Louis Park flagship store. Called a “Warehouse Boutique,” the store hosts Ciel’s warehouse sales and stock lines from local makers as well as original Ciel merchandise. Oct. 29: InVision Distinctive Eyewear North Loop Grand Opening at D.NOLO: The local luxury eyewear store opens its fourth location at the D.NOLO building in the North Loop. Oct. 31-Nov. 1: Northern Grade Mpls: This traveling all-American marketplace makes its annual Minneapolis stop this year on Halloween weekend. Hosted by Chowgirls catering, the event traditionally features local brews including Fulton and Bauhaus, and hot drinks alongside local fashion. Having originated in Minneapolis, the touring event celebrates all things local, whether that’s fashion or food. The event is free and open to the public.
