Oct. 20 Fritz Hansen Meet-and-Greet at AlwaysMod: Danish furniture brand Fritz Hansen will be showcased during this cocktail reception event at home design store AlwaysMod. Henrik Hjorth and Adrian Pollack, VP and Sales Manager at Fritz Hansen, will be on hand for a meet-and-greet and presentation, and guests will have a chance to win an iconic Arne Jacobsen Drop Chair valued at $468. Oct. 22: Hammer Made Ridgedale Grand Opening: Men’s boutique Hammer Made, which carries limited-run designs made from European fabrics, will debut its fourth location at the new Ridgedale Mall. Prices at Hammer Made belie the high quality, and founder Jason Hammerberg prides himself on providing customers with more for less. In addition to button-down shirts, ties, and accessories, the store also carries Minnesota-themed tees and knits. Oct. 22: United Way’s Centennial Celebration at Muse Event Center: Since 1915, United Way has combatted poverty through empowering the disadvantaged and bringing people together. The nonprofit is celebrating its centennial with a fashion event organized by Women United, a division of United Way that helps women and children succeed through community-building and philanthropy. Hosted by style expert Grant Whittaker, the show is a fashion retrospective that also serves as a networking event. All proceeds from the event will go to support Women United and its partners.
