Taking place in the luxury of Hotel Ivy’s penthouse suite, Project Runway season 16 designer Samantha Rei is hosting a custom couture party where guests can shop her latest collection and even book private consolations. Tuesday from 5:30-8:30 p.m. @ Hotel Ivy, 201 S. 11th St., Minneapolis.  

Menswear Market Preview

Menswear Market, an online men's retailer, is opening their very first brick-and-mortar shop. As the only luxury fashion consignment business in the region—and one of a handful in the country—it buys and sells high-end merchandise with clients across the country and even across the world. The shop officially opens Aug. 15, but they invite you to join them for a preview party. Wednesday from 5-8 p.m. @ 38th Street and Chicago Avenue, Minneapolis.

SOTA Grand Opening

After restoring the historic Walker Building in St. Louis Park, SOTA Clothing Co. is ready to reveal their new store and headquarters. Since the company’s debut in 2011, Minnesotans have embraced the brand as a way to show off their state pride. Finally, Minnesota apparel that isn’t just purple, yellow and white. Wednesday from 6-9 p.m. @ 6518 Walker St., St. Louis Park.

Nicollet Makers Market 

The semi-monthly Nicollett Makers Market features handmade goods from local artists, designers, and crafters. This upcoming market will include soap, jewelry, 3D greeting cards, and gourmet cupcakes. Wednesday from 10:30 a.m.-2:30 p.m. @ Nicollet Makers Market between Sixth and Eighth streets, Minneapolis.

Haupt Antiek Market – Farmhouse Style
