L'Atelier Couture Bridal Moves!

Holy Mother-of-the-Bride! That was my reaction to seeing photos of L’Atelier Couture Bridal Boutique’s new space.

Sad as I am to see L’Atelier immigrating to Minneapolis from St. Paul’s charming Cathedral Hill…well, this time I get it. This 7,000-square-foot top-floor space in the Northwestern Building is out-and-out spectacular. The industrial space gives Kautt’s selection of bridal gowns an extra ethereal glow, and they’re not called dressing rooms there, we’re talking about “dressing suites.” (Makes so much sense for trying on wedding dresses!) There’s a reason that brides-to-be have come from as far as Singapore and Australia to shop L’Atelier—think exclusive Oscar de la Renta, Lela Rose and Vera Wang gowns, plus local designs from Penny Larsen jewelry and Nelle Handbags.

It’s enough to make me want to do my wedding all over again.
