Fine Finds at Banana Republic

To me this is a perfect everyday take on the military trend that's so hot this fall. (This is a "new arrival" at Banana Republic—both Banana Republic and Gap are doing great things this fall in my opinion.)

This skirt would be perfect paired with a classic white button-up shirt and some mixed-metal jewelry, or a chunky funnel-collar wool cardigan if you catch a chill.

I love the two-tone riding boots with could also slip on a pair of Hunter rain boots for this wet weekend.

I spotted some bangles in the store with jungle animals on them—wish they had a photo on the website I could use. One was rose-gold with little camels, a silver one with elephants, and gold ones with tortoises and lions. At $29.50 each, I didn't think that was so bad for a quick stack of arm candy.

But when I went in search of the bangles online, I found this little gem:

Too cute. It would bring a feminine touch to menswear-inspired outfits, and darling with a dress.

Happy Friday!
