The women behind the fabulous Post- (pronounced “post-dash”) handbag line, art historians Katie McShane and Lois Munemitsu Eliason, are back with a brand new bag.
Well, more accurately, bags.
And tonight they’re celebrating the launch of their Post-Industrial line with an event at the W7 Collective in the Pilney Building in St. Paul. McShane and Munemitsu were inspired by the materials and technology that shaped the Industrial Revolution, so expect lots of studs and structure to the bags.
True to brand, this is not any ordinary event—the feel is rich, edgy, and sexy, not unlike the bags that the duo have designed. For instance, there’s no wine tasting tonight—absinthe tasting takes its place. Perfect wearing red lips with a Smashbox makeup artist.
