Just in time for the holidays, North Loop men’s store MartinPatrick3 has checked off something on many a stylish Twin Cities woman’s wish list: a new women’s department. Cheekily dubbed a.pol.o.gy, the shop is geared toward the MP3 male shopper who has a special lady in his life—be it his girlfriend, his BFF, his sister, or his mother.
Assistant manager and accessories buyer Hannah Weer says the store was a long time coming: “The demand was high and impossible to ignore, so we obliged the fellas,” she says, adding that the gift assortment has been carefully curated with their clientele’s counterpart in mind. “Whether it be an apology gift or just because, we have it covered,” she says.
It includes candles encased in beautiful painted vases, a selection of perfumes by Italian fragrance house Santa Maria Novella, vintage estate jewelry, gilded paperweight magnifying glasses, and Faribault Woolen Mill’s new line of wool capes and vests.
So guys, now when you’re out shopping for yourself, you’re officially out of excuses not to pick up something for your best girl.
