Mona Williams Hosting Major Designer Resale Dot Sale

Now that Mona Williams has opened a location at the Mall of America that focuses on new fashions from cult designer lines such as Baum und Pferdgarten, you’d think that vintage and contemporary designer resale would be an afterthought for the retailer. Not so, says owner Patric Richardson, as evidenced by this weekend’s “dot sale” at its original Northeast location. The shop is clearing out inventory in a big way to make room for fall with the lowest prices the shop has ever offered, ranging from $5 to $200, including $20 cashmere sweaters and $100 Chanel pieces.

“This consignor brought a lot that she just needed to clear out,” explains Richardson, “and as we were pulling for the mall we just realized how many things were sort of hanging around, so we decided to do something a little crazy to freshen up the inventory. I wanted to do it fast so that so could focus on fall both in vintage and new.”

The sale kicks off Thursday 6 p.m. with complimentary wine while you shop, and runs through August 14.
