Dark Weather Day; Bright and Springy News

Man, it is truly one of the best parts of my job when I can report when a local stylemaker makes good nationally. Handbag designer Laura Nelli of Nelle has been on fire the past year or so. She was recognized in Redbook and Oprah magazines, and was one of my style picks for our Best Ofs for 2010.

Now, Laura has taken the next step: a collaboration with BHLDN, the new, gorgeous, vintage-romantic wedding label owned by Anthropologie. Laura's Just Bowtiful belts join the first collection, in shades of soft white, blush, and navy, and will retail for $60. Future collaborations are promised to be coming down the pike.

I can say without reserve that Laura is supremely talented, wildly fun, and has impeccable taste. She is so deserving of this fabulous opportunity. Her designs fit perfectly with BHLDN, just like a betrothed should.
