The A.B. Ellie Beyond the Dress Store sort of fell into my lap if you will. I met the owner, Ashley, through a referral from a mutual friend. Taking one look at the store’s website featuring stunning accessories made me get goose bumps from excitement. Even better, they are made in Minnesota! I wanted another wedding just so I could wear one of her gorgeous sashes—but how to choose from so many beautiful options?
In an Era of mass-produced, overpriced pieces from China, we have a treasure chest of amazingness being designed and made right here in Minnesota.

Although today’s bride is no longer looking for poofs and voluminous layers of fabrics, they are still looking to express their individuality and uniqueness. What better way than with wonderful sashes, bracelets, and hair accessories? Ashley realized this, and together with her Mother and Sister started A.B. Ellie Beyond the Dress Store in April of 2010. Her business had crazy success they have now designed and launched their fourth collection.

You can find A.B. Ellie pieces locally at Posh Bridal Couture in Wayzata, Raffine Bridal and Formal Wear in Woodbury, and Alan Evans Bridal in Moorhead. They are also in 47 other stores in the US, Canada, and internationally.

If you would like something totally custom, they can accommodate. Just contact them and they will personally work with you to create the sash you have been dreaming of.
