Big Shopping Weekend Ahead

Published:

There are two shopping events this coming weekend that you shouldn't miss.

The first is the Blu Dot warehouse sale, taking place on Saturday. Find absolute steals on the local modern furniture favorite's warehouse floor. You may even snag a prototype that wasn't released to the public—all at up to 90 percent off original pricing. (Yes, you saw that right.) Doors open at 9 a.m., but plan to be there at least an hour early to join the line.  13098 George Weber Dr., Rogers

The second is the Edina Art Fair at 50th & France.  A conglomeration of more than 350 artists (including many local favorites), you're sure to find amazing home décor, crafts, beautiful jewelry, and more. Check out the new "green artists" in the Lunds parking lot. 10 a.m.-7 p.m. Friday and Saturday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday
