Get Your Om On

This Saturday marks the second OMazing Yoga Rocks the Park.

Held on St. Paul’s Raspberry Island, the class is held right on the banks of the Mississippi River, and this week yogi Elizabeth Camp will lead the one-hour-plus class. Sarah White will provide live music. I just can’t think of a better way to do a sun salute than to actually…. Salute under the sun! What a concept! There will also be a kids’ yoga class held concurrently with the adult class, so moms and dads can do their own practice without worrying about their little ones at the same time. Brilliant.

You can find all the information you need on the Yoga Rocks the Park Facebook page, but the schedule is loosely as follows:
• 9 a.m.: Registration begins
• 9:50 a.m. – 11:20 a.m.: Kids Yoga
• 10 a.m. – 11:15 a.m.: Yoga/Music
• 11:15 – noon: More music!

There will also be cool, interesting health and wellness vendors showing off their wares and services—this is a great way to dip your toe in wellness waters, so to speak. Meet service providers to see if they’d be a good fit for your needs or pick up a product or two you’ve been wanting to try.

Can’t make it this Saturday? You will have options throughout the summer—but don’t wait too long…it’s too good to miss! Bring your own mat and get well!
