It doesn’t take much to truly enjoy these long summer days. Give me a beach, a swimsuit, and a group of friends, and I’m a happy gal. However, there is a new “must-have” summer item that has recently entered my life and that, my friends, is the Turkish Bath Towel. I’m totally obsessed with these soft, lightweight towels, which come in a huge variety of colors and patterns. It gives my beach time a little European flare, which is way zestier than using a regular old beach towel. They’re also multifunctional—I use these towels as a sarong, a wrap, or even a throw for my sofa.
If you’re new to the Turkish bath towel experience, don’t expect the fluffiness of a traditional beach towel. That’s what makes them perfect for hot temperatures! Turkish cotton is made from premium cotton with extra long fibers, giving them a smooth, soft feel. The fabric is extremely absorbent and feels even better after a few washes because the towels become softer and fluffier. They also dry quickly, so you can avoid that musty beach-towel smell.
