Sneak Peek at Primp

I’ve been long-awaiting something good to happen in the empty corner space at Dale and Selby. Call it wishful thinking, but I’ve been hoping for a neighborhood retail revival there, not unlike what is happening at Snelling and Selby.

Well, mayhaps I’m finally getting my wish. A new “cheap-chic boutique” called Primp is going in, owned by Rapport handbags designer Michele Henry and Wesley Uthus. Their fabric handbags, accessories, and dresses will be at Primp, alongside other brands. I’m very excited to see how this turns out—every item will be under $100.

Of course, fast or budget-friendly fashion can also be a nightmare, but I have high hopes for the venture. Check out these photos:

 Cute, right?

Grand opening is September 16, just in time to scoop up some cheap-chic fall fashion, wine, and hors d’oeuvres. And if you’re filling out your back-to-school closet, flash your ID for 10 percent off!
