Savvy Mom: Pizza Nea, Brought to You By Bite Squad

Published:

It's been a good year so far for pizza in the Twin Cities. Last month, Rachel Hutton detailed all the greatness and options in "The Twin Cities' Best Pizza." This month, Travel & Leisure included us (No. 6!) in "America's Best Cities for Pizza."

While it wasn't specifically highlighted in the Travel & Leisure article, Pizza Nea is one of my personal favorites. It's one of those neighborhood gems that's been around so long I think some people take it for granted. But we don't want that—we need it to stick around! So I'm here to remind you that Pizza Nea is still here, still delicious, and, news flash, it's available for delivery through Bite Squad!

Bite Squad is a service that will deliver from a variety of restaurants based on where you're located. You enter your zip code online to see which restaurants deliver to your neighborhood, then fill out an easy ordering form and get an estimated time of delivery. It even includes a pre-paid tip so there's no surprise fumbling at the door, yelling to see if your spouse has more cash. On a Friday evening, our order from Pizza Nea arrived in just 32 minutes—two minutes faster than the estimation.

So if you haven't been in awhile, I recommend you check out Pizza Nea. It has one of the best crusts in the city—not soggy or floppy like some of the more well-known places. And don't forget to browse through the restaurants that deliver to you via Bite Squad. I think you'll be pleased to discover all the food you can enjoy without having to put your shoes on.
