Cindy Joseph Will Make Your Skin Go Boom! (In a Good Way.)

Published:

I tend to be a no fuss kind of girl, someone who likes to keep things simple, especially when it comes to beauty. I believe that some of the best tips to looking great come not from a jar, but from simple routines: eating healthy, exercising, having a good attitude. So I was naturally excited to find someone who shares my philosophy of wearing my age with pride and enhancing one's natural beauty with simple natural products.

Meet Cindy Joseph, makeup artist and now model. Cindy is all about pro-aging cosmetics. She believes every face tells a wonderful story.

After all, why hide it? Or, as Cindy puts it, quoting Rosalind Russell: "Taking joy in living is a woman's best cosmetic." I’d have to agree. With this idea in mind, Cindy has created a simple, easy-to-use line that will make you glow regardless of whether you're 16 or 60.

It all started with the BOOMSTICK Trio, three products that create that perfect, dewy, colorful, radiant look of joy. I was originally attracted to the Color stick because I love cream blush, especially in the winter when your skin needs all the moisture it can get. Plus, I have always thought creams are easier to apply than powder and look more natural. The Color stick creates a beautiful natural flushed color that works on just about any skin tone. It can be used on cheeks, lips, and anywhere else that needs a little life.

Just when I thought I was satisfied, I discovered the Glimmer stick. What I love about this one is the way it gives the skin radiance without reading like make up. I use it at the brow bone, the top of the cheekbone, and even at the center of the mouth to add dimension.

While I love the Color and Glimmer sticks, the one I got hooked on is the Glo stick. It’s essentially moisturizer in a stick—what a great idea! The stick contains organic extra-virgin olive oil, organic beeswax, organic propolis, organic pollen, organic honey, Vitamin E, and essence of chamomile. Honestly, you could eat this thing. My favorite thing about it is that I can use it all over my face and body: lips, hands, décolletage, you name it. Bonus: it photographs beautifully!

(Glo became so popular Cindy created BOOMSILK body lotion out of the same ingredients. I have been using it as my moisturizer this winter, and it's totally helping my skin get through February looking and feeling more joyful.)

Cindy believes how we feel about ourselves and how much we are enjoying ourselves is what makes us truly attractive. Her products nurture our natural beauty and let it radiate for all to see. Thanks, Cindy!
